Leading up to NAHM each year, 10 Native artists will receive a “pan Indigenous art kit” that is consistent for each recipient.

Through these kits, the artists are able to create a piece that is reflective of their tribe(s) or nation(s) as well as themselves as an individual.

This tangible piece of art will be completed only using the supplies provided in the kit as well as an additional item specific to their peoples.

While the kits are the same, the outcomes are different - this speaks to the uniqueness of each nation that will be represented in this exhibition and printed zine*.
